Abstract Arab world has natural and social elements make it occupies an advanced rank in eco-tourism (ecotourism constitutes 5% of the global tourism size). Arab countries seek to achieve part of the cultural and recreational exchanges among themselves through capital investment in the provision of services necessary for the advancement of tourism and attract tourists. Earth is suffering of the significant environmental challenges and the Arab world as well. These challenges are rising temperatures and their impact on water scarcity and increasing desertification areas and the lack of green space, and land degradation of the marine environment through the emergence of the problem of water pollution. The Arab world has natural potentials represented as marine beaches that extend for long distances on the Red Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and the Arabian Gulf. Fortunately, most of the eastern and western Arabian countries have beaches with geomorphological landforms. These potentials attract tourists. The desert areas have sand dunes which take different forms also attract tourists and they enjoy this beautiful nature. The service possibilities like health and hotel services, restaurants and hotels with distinctive specifications that provide comfort to tourists. Fourteen Arab countries have been selected for comparing the number of its tourists among each other during the period (2008-2011). Egypt, Bahrain, Morocco and Yemen have top rank for the year 2008. Egypt, Arab Emirates, Morocco and Bahrain retained first position for the years 2009 and 2010. In the year, 2011 the sequence has changed, and the top countries were Arab Emirates, Morocco and Egypt. The position of Syria, Tunisia, and Yemen ecotourism has been retreated due to the changings in their political systems and the accompanying instability and internal chaosالملخص
