Abstract

The political conditions that Lebanon went through during the independence crisis in 1943 played a major role in crystallizing political trends, especially on the members of the Sunni sect in it, as this crisis created a coherent line and boundaries between Sunnis that greatly reflected the vision that the people of this sect possessed towards their country to which they belong, and of course. The Lebanese Sunnis stood with their people from the rest of the sects and stood up against the French authorities, who arrested members of the Lebanese government in November 1943.And due to the necessities of the research and its methodological requirements, the research was divided into this introduction and three topics and a conclusion, the first topic dealt with (the causes of the political crisis in 1943), and the second topic dealt with (France's position on the constitutional amendments in 1943), while the third topic discussed (the position of Sunni Muslims from the October crisis in 1943).
