The Companionship of the Front and the Mu'tazila

Abstract

The research included a presentation of the evidence of companionship for the Imami and Mu'tazila Shiites:

Istihab according to the Imami Shiites is not an evidence for deducing the ruling, but rather one of their practical principles. As for the Mu'tazila, they counted it from the evidence for deduction of legal rulings.

As for the Hanafi’s, they did not say that ijtihad is a legal evidence. The Maliki’s, the Shari’s, the Mu’tazila, some of the Hanafi’s, and most of the Imams, including Sheikh al-Mufid and Sheikh al-Tosi, said with the proof of approval.

As for the Akbar’s from the illiteracy, they do not consider the ijtihad as a guide, but rather they use it as a precaution.
