Abstract

Hospitals differ in general in the service they provide to patients in line with many considerations represented in the location to which the patient travels to reach the hospital, and the specialization of the hospital, especially if there is no corresponding specialization in the area in which the patient lives, as well as the patient’s ability in terms of Availability of access requirements from a means of transport, whether private or for a fee, and on the basis of this, the health district of Baghdad city hospitals was divided into two parts: the middle region, which included the areas close to the city of Baghdad, which are often located within the regions of the governorate being close, not more than 50 A kilometer, which is a distance that any patient can fall, while the second weak region included different regions of Iraq and was named so for the small number of patients visiting compared to the first medium region

An inventory of patients’ medical files was adopted in five specialized hospitals out of 40 hospitals, at a rate of 12.5%, for the purpose of knowing the areas of residence of patients. Hospitals were identified as specialized because public hospitals are not reviewed by patients from the region because there are similar ones in other cities, and the number of patients whose medical files were inventoried 91462 patients The number of patients from the region reached 37,457 at a rate of 41%, meaning that the percentage of services provided by Baghdad city hospitals to the residents of its region reached 41%, which is the percentage of regional representation, while the remaining percentage, which is 59%, is provided to the residents of the city of Baghdad, and the dense region was launched on this percentage.
