The argumentative dimension in the rhetorical methods, a reading in the texts of the book “Zuhr al-Adab wa Thimr al-Albab” by al-Husari al-Qayrawani (d. 453 AH)

Abstract

The idea of ​​this research is summarized in an attempt to explain the argumentative dimension in the rhetorical methods contained in the Arab heritage text by approaching the texts of one of the most important literary heritage books, which is the book (Zuhr al-Adab wa Thamar al-Albab by al-Husari al-Qayrawani (d. 453AH)), which is a pragmatic approach that reveals the pilgrimage function  carried out by the most prominent metaphorical methods used in the texts of the book, to show that the Arab heritage text has the ability to absorb modern linguistic theories at the level of theory and application, especially that these theories were developed for the study of natural languages ​​in their diverse environments.
