Abstract

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon His Noble Messenger, the most eloquent of the Arabs in tongue and the most eloquent statement to them, and upon his good and pure family.

The story in Iraq passed through different stages, accompanied by this wonderful development in the form and content that it characterized. And my choice for this study, which is tagged with (The Inheritance of Customs and Traditions in the Stories of Abdul Amir Al-Majer), came in an attempt to identify the construction of the story in Iraq, and the prospects for development that it excelled with in general, because the storyteller under study represents an important stage of the development of storytelling in Iraq.
