The Effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment in Reducing School Exhaustion of Female Students of the Distinguished Secondary School

Abstract

The current research aims  is to construct counseling program according to the method of treatment by acceptance and commitment to reduce school exhaustion among distinguished secondary female students , and  is to identify the effectiveness of the methods of and acceptance - commitment in

reducing school exhaustion among distinguished secondary school female students by testing the following null hypotheses:

  • There is no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the students in the second experimental group according to the acceptance- commitment treatment method in the pre and post tests on the school exhaustion scale at the level of (0.05).
  • There is no effectiveness of the acceptance and commitment treatment method in reducing school exhaustion among the distinguished secondary female students, for the second experimental group equal to or greater than the modified Black ratio of (1.2).

achieve the aims of the research, were designe a Scale of School Exhaustion  Was Constructed depending on the Seley model ,The method of declarative statements was used to formulate the paragraphs of the scale , for the response (it is completely applicable, sometimes applicable, never applicable), they are given when correcting (3, 2, 1) respectively, Applied Scale on the Sample amounting to (200) From Female Students of the  Distinguished Secondary School Style class random, the validity were examined of Scale through Face validity and constructing validity by the examine construction of infrastructure for each scale , Which showed the presence of four factors of School Exhaustion, the researcher looked for the realiability of the Scale analysis of variance using the equation alpha Kronbach of the scale as a whole and for each factor of factors scale ,and reliability coefficients were all good .

To achieve the goals, the counseling program was built using the method of immunization against stress, where the researcher distributed the students to the two groups and the control group by (7) students in each group, the vacation between the two groups in a number of variables. The duration of one session is (45-60) minutes .

 The results showed the effectiveness of the counseling method in reducing school fatigue among the distinguished high school students, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the grades of school fatigue degrees between the experimental and control groups for the post-test, and when comparisons were made, the differences were found in favor of the experimental group.
