Abstract

The global interest in continuing education has increased significantly, as it has been represented by a lot of research and educational applications in accordance with the principles of education aimed at organizing the good among learners and utilizing their creative energies and investing them in a way that meets their needs and helps them to grow properly, as continuing education prepares for educational expertise, a set of knowledge without linking it to a specific age, or a specific period of time. or a study stage, or a place dedicated to education, and it is also possible to apply continuing education by participating in courses, or reading a group of books in different fields of knowledge, and is considered An essential tool in the collection of knowledge at a time when educational systems no longer aim to fill the minds of students with knowledge and facts, but went on to work on the development and teaching of thinking so that the individual can deal with the requirements of contemporary life and starts from the interest in thinking in the classroom to the culture of the class thinking from assumptions The most important is that learning is an inevitable result of good thinking. Continuing education is a concept that is of great interest in most countries of the world because of its importance in developing the capabilities of individuals and institutions and its basic idea is that learning should not be limited to the basic study that the individual receives in the school and university seats, Some are known as lifelong education, an educational method in which people are keen to learn new things throughout their life years, and also as continuing to learn different sciences in a range of cognitive fields, whether by relying on personal motivation, profession or training. Therefore, the research aims to identify continuing education, the methods of developing the teacher's skills and the obstacles to its application. The most important findings of the research, including, the countries race in the application of the field of continuing education through attention to it, in the educational process and in the curriculum and come up with recommendations that benefit the research, including the formation of specialized committees to reformulate all the curricula of education in terms of objectives, content, teaching methods, educational environment and methods of evaluation of teaching methods, which are solved by developing the teacher and increasing his skills.
