Manifestations of Nature in the Poetry of the Apollo School:A Descriptive Study
Abstract
This study will explore nature and its manifestations in the poetry of the Apollo School, treating the subject as an independent investigation grounded in the poetic texts themselves, without imposing externally constructed assumptions unrelated to reality. The selected examples will emerge organically from the spirit of the topic—nature. The research will employ a descriptive method, presenting the texts as they are while drawing on relevant critical insights offered by Arab scholars, alongside our own analytical perspective. It should also be noted that examining and analyzing certain texts is necessary due to the large number of themes and motifs introduced by these poets, many of which spring from the wellspring of love poetry. The structure of the study will begin with a preliminary introduction to the concept, followed by the theoretical framework. It will then address the theme of nature in the works of these poets through selected examples from:Ahmed Zaki Abu Shadi, Khalil Mutran, Ibrahim Naji, Ali Mahmoud Taha, Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi, and Elias Abu Shabaki.
This will be followed by the applied/analytical section, and finally a conclusion summarizing the key findings, along with a list of sources and references
