Abstract

Abstract
The research seek for a lead to the methodological criteria for ancients
in their etymology of Consonants, Vowel (consonnes and voyelles)and their
similar terms, which surely have many number, refer that they kindly have a
completed methodology view .
In order to have an objective aim of study two questions are set to
identifies the limitation which are : what are the methodologies of
etymology? And how we can evaluate their efforts under in the spot of
modern interpretation ?as the modern experiences act to broaden the human
knowledge upon the world and enrich his thinking and create new concepts
and terms that express it .
The research deals with the Arabic translation of the western terms (vowel
and consonant) “Voyelles , consonnes ) . and may be reveals their defects in
various concepts which differ at different objective viewpoint , accordingly ,
some researches had mixing up of these concepts as it reveals later on
