Abstract

Current research is aimed to know the working memory among middle school students for the purpose of verification of it , sample was selected amounted to (250) students chosen by stratified random way .Was built a test to measure working memory and to see a number of theoretical frameworks and previous studies .Be as testing as the final format of the 14 – paragraphs (cards) and seven paragraphs – cards to measure the auditory working memory as the research relied on the theory of baddeley and hitch in the construction of the test the following hypothesis was tested . There is a statistically significant difference at the level of five percent in in working memory between males and females . The results showed that there is significant difference in working memory between male and female students from the middle school and in favor of males .
