The effect of conversational searching in getting information for the students of fifth literary class in literature and texts subject

Abstract

The current research aims to know the effect of conversational searching in getting information for the students of fifth literary class .To achieve this , the researcher has randomly chosen Al-Faihaa preparatory school for boys . By randomly method also , he has chosen section (B) to represent the experimental group who are going to study Literature and Texts material by conversational searching and section (A) will represent the control group who are going to study the same subject by traditional method. The sample of the research has become ( 43 ) students , ( 22 ) students for experimental group and ( 21 ) students for control one .

            The researcher has implemented an equivalent between the two groups in the following variables : (  age even in months , marks of Arabic language for fourth literary class , the education of their parents )

            The researcher has specified the studying topics which will be taught during the period of experience and he has formed behavioural aims for these topics . They were ( 126 ) behavioural aims .

            The researcher has prepared teaching plans for topics supposed to be taught during the period of experience and he has shown two model plans on a number of experts and specialists to specify the competence of these two plans and its convenience for these subjects.

            The researcher himself has taught the two groups during the period of experience which lasted ( 13 ) weeks , after the experience had   finished , the researcher applied the final educational test on both groups.

            He has used the following statistic means : ( T –Test with two ends for two independent samples , Kai square , Bergson connection coefficient , Siberman Brown equation and the equation of an item difficulty and the strength of recognizing it. ) After analyzing the results , the researcher has reached to : ( Superiority of experimental group students who have been taught by conversational searching method on control group students who have been taught with traditional method.

            So due to the research result , the researcher has concluded that conversational searching method is convenient for teaching Literature and Texts material . The researcher has recommended to depend conversational searching method in teaching Literature and Texts subject for its active role in education of students and information for them.

            The researcher has suggested to do a similar study for the current study on students of fifth female literary students and other stages.
