Abstract

Historical  Method is considered as the first critical method in modern era,It is  associated with the thoughts and developments of humans ,besides, studying the political , social  and cultural status which the historian lived within , Usually ,trusty historian uses reliable  historical method to interpret his own ideas and way of thinking towards certain events. Accordingly , this method presents clearly the historian ꞌs efforts in providing the material ,And urges the basic evolution of human though through transition from one era to another  as the past through its  shadow on the present and affect the future Historical method deals with the literary aspects depending on politic ,they precede together , whenever politic flourished , we notice that literature flourishes too , this fact reflects on our author, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani , in his book ( Al-Durrar al-Kamina fi Ayan al- ma,a al-Thamina ) , for he lived in a time when historical writing was in its glory ,which affected ,even , his own personality .This research deals with Ibn Hajar biograpghy , scientific status , and his environment , from which he obtained his knowledge and experience . we also mentioned his jobs , books , and description of social and intellectual life of the era in which the historian has lived  that reflected its aspects on intellectual configuration ,In his writing , ibn Hajar , ollowed a distinctive style in criticizing others , like , historians ,Muhadthins , jurists and such like ,and recorded his point of views about their Marwiyat (writings), For all what we have mentioned , briefly, we can conclude that Ibn Hajar is considered as one of well known and brilliant Muslim authors , who  clearly participate in flourishing Islamic civilization
