Psychological alienation and its relationship to the need for love in the elderly

Abstract

After psychological alienation of phenomena that spread between individuals and may be attributed to the phenomenon of the semantics reflect the current era and human suffering and conflicts and feelings of uncertainty towards life.

Current research has aimed to:

  • Construction of psychological alienation scale
  • Measurement of psychological alienation among the elderly.
  • Know the differences in psychological alienation on the sex variable and function.
  • Building scale need to love.
  • Measuring the need to love the elderly.
  • Know the differences in need for love the sex variable and function.
  • Know the relationship between alienation and psychological need for love.

In the light of the objectives was to come

  1. construction of psychological alienation scale
  2. build a need for love and sincerity scales were extracted using honesty and sincerity and reliability research sample consisted of (100) an elderly man in the State House in the Baghdad governorate in (2015) and reality (60) an old man and an elderly (40).

Appropriate statistical methods were used to to find it (check t-one for sample and the Pearson correlation coefficient and the arithmetic mean, standard deviation and variance analysis).

And the following conclusions were reached:

  • The sample research are psychological alienation.
  • There are no significant differences in degrees of psychological alienation, depending on the variable sex walozovih.
  • Is the sample of the need for love.
  • There are significant differences in degrees need to love sex and variable depending on the job.

• The relationship between function of alienation and need for love among the elderly in the light of the findings came out they maintain with a set of recommendations and proposals.
