Presence and Absence in the light of the deconstruction which belongs to Jacques Derrida
Abstract
This study aims at exploring the depths of the deconstructive analysis of the
presence and absence subject which is considered as one of the main premises
in Jacques Derrida's philosophical cornerstones, so I have applied it on the
poem "pigeons fly" which is written by the poet Mahmoud Darwish. This
study showed the dominance of the presence and absence fully on the text,
starting with the heading threshold till the last word in it, also it was brought
to light that, absence is the greatest dominant which led to the departure of the
center and the rise of the margin in its place in different situations I have
mentioned in the research.
