Abstract
Stress can lead to behavioral disorders as well as other bodily illnesses. Perhaps the pressure for the visually impaired may be exacerbated. A visually impaired child loses something very important in controlling and controlling the environment. Visualization is the main instinct for the individual to recognize his environment, develop his concepts, analyze relationships and solve problems. Therefore, visual impairment may have negative returns, including psychological stress affecting the disabled, which is reflected on his psychological health and his relationship with others friends and family members

The persistence of these pressures, if found, coupled with visual impairment, may lead to the expansion and complexity of the problem, which is reflected in the lives of the disabled and, consequently, on society at large. The researcher developed the following goals: - To identify the level of psychological stress in visually impaired children. 2 - Identification of the significance of differences in the level of psychological stress in children with visual impairment by gender variable (male, female). The current research was limited to children with visual disabilities in the "Institute of Light" of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Baghdad / Karkh. For the academic year 2017-2018.(25) students and (25) randomly chosen students. After constructing a measure of psychological pressure and following all the psychometric procedures in constructing the measurements, the scale was applied to the sample of the research. , And after processing the data statistically, the results showed the following: 1 - visually impaired students suffer from psychological pressure. 2 - There are no differences between the degrees of males and females in the level of psychological pressure. The researcher has made some recommendations and suggestions based on the research results.
