Abstract

The issue of Darfur is a very old issue whose roots are deep in history and that it is witnessing a deteriorating situation due to the policy of British colonialism with geopolitical dimensions which was based on an ancient approach that created ethnic and racial contradictions. As it is applied in its policy, a set of laws that prevent any civilized interaction between different parts of Sudan, which generated a state of isolation that led to a large disparity between the regions of Sudan, including the Darfur region, which has been plagued by conflict between different tribes along with the great neglect of the development process and then the ramifications of this issue and the intervention of the various regional and international powers, especially the United States of America, which tries through the UN security council to impose various international resolutions against the Sudanese government.

        The US administration seems to be seeking its own acquisition of the territory, which has huge oil and uranium reserves.
