Abstract

The current research sought to identify two very important concepts in the educational, psychological and social theoretical literature, namely, tolerance and citizenship, and their definition in religious, social, and psychological frameworks to clarify their role in general and in Iraqi society in particular, and how tolerance can contribute to building the society of citizenship. the second chapteris to clarify the theoretical literature of the two concepts starting with the religion in the Holy Quran and the (Sunnah) of prophet, and then a social, psychological, cultural and political overview, third chapteris to clarify the nature of the relationship between the two concepts and where it goes through To find the participants and identify the obstacles between them, and then the conclusion in achieving the goal of research to reveal how to contribute to tolerance in cyeation the community of citizenship and the participants positively and away from the negative obstacles, and it became clear that the rule of tolerance has expanded significantly to achieve the building of the citizenship community to the depth of the concept religiously and socially, And a great humanitarian value that has the ability to defend and restore its right, and even to defend the right of the other, which is different in everything, to achieve coexistence in one nation and to build it in justice, equality, and peace.
