Abstract
The aim of the current research is to identify the creative thinking of ordinary and distinguished preparatory students, as well as to identify the statistical differences in creative thinking according to the gender variable (male and female) and the type of study (distinct - ordinary). A sample of 400 students And a student from the distinguished and 200 students from the ordinary. The researcher adopted the Torrance test of creative thinking, which was expressed by Mr. Khair Allah (1981). The results of the study found that the students of the preparatory stage are distinguished with creative thinking higher than ordinary student. they analysis of the binary variance showed that there were statistically significant differences according to the type of study variable and for the benefit of the distinguished students. Therefore, the researcher developed a set of recommendations.
