Abstract

It was not strange for Lebanon to have a position (intellectual or popular elites) from the Zionist settlement project from the end of the First World War until the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. Lebanon is associated with the occupied Palestine with many links, the most important of which is land, language, religions and customs. Lebanese intellectuals on the Palestinian issue, some of them advocating and defending Zionism, while others reject it in defense of the question of Palestine.

The popular divisions are also divided into supporters and oppressors of this tyrannical entity. The reason for this division lies in Lebanon's religious, intellectual and ideological structure, which links each of its groups to another, mostly foreign. Therefore, we will discuss these divisions and contradictions through this research, In which a group of intellectual elites and the popular model of the Lebanese position of the Zionist settlement project.
