Self Awareness and Its Relation with The Social Persuasion Among the University Students

Abstract

The following research aims to:-
1- Identify the self-awareness among university students.
3- Differences in self- awareness according to gender (males - females)
Specialization (scientific - humanist) and phase (first - fourth)4Differences in
social persuasion according to gender (male, female) Specialization
(scientific, humanist) and phase (first, fourth).
The recent research limits the University of Baghdad students, and the sample
consisted of 400 students, including the four faculties of the University of
Baghdad for scientific specialists and humanitarian academic year (2014-
2015) of (200) students of the humanitarian of them where (70) male and
(130) female and specialized scientific reality (200) tool measure of selfawareness
of (Gragoli 2011) inclusing of (25) items divided into two sides.it
has extracted the psychometric properties , of the virtual honesty , the honesty
of building , the distinguished power to the items and the Relationship
paragraph chiefly college degree of the scale and the relationship of the
degree of para degree filed and extracted stability test and re-test in a manner
bringing the first measure of stability coefficient (0.76) the statistical means ,
the research used the program for statistical psychological and social science
(spss) in dealing the date.
The research results:-
1-University students have self-awareness.
2- There are no differences in self-awareness among university students
according to gender, specialization and stage
According to the findings of the current research some of the
recommendations and proposals have crystallized.
