Measuring cognitive motivation among counselors

Abstract

The current research is aimed at measuring the cognitive motivation
counselors in the schools of education directors Baghdad (Rusafa first, and
the second) and The significance statistical difference motivation cognitive
depending on the different gender (male-female) and length of service (1-10)
(11-20) (21-30 and more) and to this end, the researcher prepared motivation
cognitive scale depending on the theory (Murray) set out with four areas and
is (the quest of knowledge, curiosity, exploration and suspicion, accept
challenges) formed (45) items manner phrases declarative and each paragraph
five alternatives scalable to answer is(always, often, sometimes, rarely, do not
relate to him) given to them when debugging grades the following (1, 2.3,
4.5) are formulated towards measuring motivation cognitive and reflects a
correction to paragraphs drafted as opposed to measuring motivation
cognitive, and strength achieved discriminatory clauses scale and sincerity
transactions and by applying the standard on (135) guide and mentor chose
them based on the style of the class of random, and as a result has become a
measure which is consist of (39) items to measure motivation cognitive and
achieved researcher authenticity of scales Bmaharin two (virtual honesty and
truthfulness construction) and has validated scales using equation
(Alvakrombach) and hit (0721) and after verifying the accuracy of the
characteristics of psychometric scale research and paragraphs and determine
the variable length of service ten years and according to the opinions of the
referees, then apply the scale on the same basic research and adult (120), a
guide and mentor, chosen-style class random according to the variables of sex
and length of service, and data were analyzed using the bag for statistical
Sciences the statistical Marital (spss) and the results showed that the
counselors have motivated the Gnostic and the researcher found a total of
recommendations and proposals to complement the search.
