Abstract

US presidential elections witnessed in 1920, politically and ideologically
struggle between President Woodrow Wilson's Democratic administration and
the Republican Party of all groups and his characters and political idea, that is, it
was a struggle between thought and management, and the desire of Republicans
to return to what they call the philosophy of American life based on economic
capitalism and liberal political, from here highlighted Republican criticism on
Wilson for his administration at that point, and for two main reasons: firstly, the
end of the economic boom in the United States during World War I, and the
second reason for the political differences that project League of Nations, which
raised project isolationist reactions when the majority of the American political
currents. Try the two major parties to exploit this situation for their political
objectives during the election campaign of 1920, taking advantage of the
positions of each of the most important issues at the time, to achieve a win,
especially the issue of the impact of the World War I on American society, and
project the League of Nations, and the position of the eighteenth amendment the
US Constitution, the right of women to participate in political life, those were the
most important issues that affected the election of 1920, and was on the
candidates to deal with it. That's what I'm trying to answer it .
