Abstract

Our thesis in Al Hatif newspaper that launced in 1935 in Al Najaf Al Ashraf then
moved to Baghdad in 1948 and in 1954 Al Hatif newspaper closed with other
newspapers under a decree isseued in that year . Al Hatif newspaper issued a
daily political newspaper for four years with the total of twenty years , before the
closed of the newspaper issued in alnajaf alashraf and Baghdad . the newspaper
had a great job to many famous writers and poets in arab world , it’s twenty
years considered as a history specially in the study of litreture and history of Iraq
in general , the newspaper had a big role in couraging and embracing cultural
thoughts thus contributed by having group of scientists , poets and writers. The
scientists of alnajaf alashraf were and still the pride of the whole Arabic world
,since antiquity al najaf alashraf known as distinct from other religious edifices
and the cultural of human rights public freedoms spreaded in it specially in
choosing religious and scientific curriculum . the writers effected by newspapers
and books and that’s increased the knowledge and awareness , al hatif had a big
role in improve the writers and it was as amean in fighting against corruption and
restricing the fundamental freedoms for this libraries and scientific schools
established the intellectual elite in al najaf in writing in alhatif newspaper which
had led to proliferation of literary movement , that's revealed the factors of
scientific , literary improvement in al najaf ready begin from the historical and
religious depth that’s led to established an intellectual movement influenced by
constitutional movement in the ottoman empire and iran as well as the influenced
of reformers , Islamic in the intellectual invironment and the expansion of print .
after the success of al hatif newspaper for twenty years that indication of an elite
of intellectual that supply the press with different themes
