Abstract

The research aims to find out the effectiveness of (C.A.S.E.) model on
the deductive thinking for the scientific fourth grade female students in
mathematics.
and To be sure of achieving the objective of this research was the
formulation of the following hypothesis:
" There is no significant difference statistically at the level of (0.05)
between the mean scores of (experimental group) which they are studied
by (C.A.S.E.) model according to the conventional method (control group)
in the deductive thinking test of mathematics".
To find out the results of research, some measures are applied as following:
Experimental method selected of equivalent groups of post for the
deductive thinking test. it was pointed research sample of (50) students .
Group B, consisting of (23) students, was chosen to be the experimental
group which were to be taught mathematics through (C.A.S.E.) model,
whereas group A, consisting of (27) students, was chosen to represent the
control group which was to be taught mathematics through the usual
teaching method.
The two groups are awarded by the following alternatives :
(timing age by months, Intelligence, previous achievement of
mathematics, previous information test of mathematics. As well as the two
groups synthesis set of strategies consistent . the researchers set the
scientific item and the behavioral goals and set (24) plan for each group).
After that there will be the deductive thinking test of mathematics which
consist of (25) item and have led verify the honesty and sincerity of virtual

content on the subject and then tested on one sample non of the research
sample .after finish of experimentation, it was conducted on samples of the
research. Then find out the validity and reliability, the difficulty factor,
discrimination power, and the effectiveness of distracters. The researcher
used t-test for two independent samples and K-R20 equation to calculate
the reliability of the subjective items, and the researchers used (t-test) by
the statistic program (spss).
from research sample result :
"There is significant difference statistically at the level of (0.05) for interest
of experimental group who studied according to (C.A.S.E.) model on
control group who studied according to traditional method in the deductive
thinking test, so the hypothesis of research was refused.
In the light of what mentioned above, researchers concluded that the
depending on (C.A.S.E.) model have a great and positive activity in the
deductive thinking so the researchers find out number of recommendations
and suggestions associated with the research result.
