Abstract

The present study aimed to identify the level of feelings of psychological exhaustion and its relationship to the control center of primary school teachers as well as to identify the significance of the differences in the level of psychological exhaustion and the following control center:

1- The level of psychological exhaustion of the stage teachers.

2-The level of the control center for the stage teachers.

3-The correlation between psychological exhaustion and the control center.

4-The difference in the relationship between psychological exhaustion and the control center of primary school teachers according to the gender variable (male - female).

The main research sample consisted of (400) male and female teachers selected by the random sampling method. As for the tools used in the current research:

1- The researcher's use of the psychological exhaustion scale, the researcher has adopted a scale for (Thorndike, 1936), as the scale has psychometric properties, from the validity of both the outward and structural types, as for the stability according to Gottman and Avakronbach.

2- The researcher's use of the control center scale. The researcher adopted a scale of (Rotter, 1982), in which types of honesty were extracted: among them are apparent honesty, constructive validity, and consistency.

Results: There is a high level of psychological exhaustion and the center of control, and there is a significant relationship between them, and some recommendations and suggestions were presented.
