Abstract

The family is the first environment in which a person acquires his behaviors and beliefs, including some negative beliefs such as fear of happiness,which means that a person avoids experiencing happiness experiences for fear "from their dire negative consequences, Such a belief can accompany a person throughout his life and affects all his social contexts, including the context of family life and family relations with members of his family, its impact is negatively reflected, "which established the current research hypothesis which stipulated the possibility of a negative correlation between fear of happiness and family consent, which required translating a measure of fear of happiness and building a family satisfaction scale, and verify their psychometric properties and then apply them to a sample consisting of 211 husbands and wives who were chosen in a simple random manner, and to reach the results that supported the validity of this hypothesis, then put a set of recommendations and proposals in light of that
