Social conditions in Baghdad in the fourth century AH

Abstract

The important of studying social condition lies in the fact that they greatly effect the success of any country. The politically and economically stable country will be reflected in this stability and success of the conditions of public, The opposite will happened as happened in the Fourth century AH in Bagdad. The disorder of the political conditions and the domination of foreign elements, over the capabilities of the institution of the caliphate during the Third century AH.

Bagdad, with its different races, including Arabs, Persian, Turks and others, and because of the bad conditions, turned into different social classes in terms of wealth and poverty. This led to the emergence of armed group that tampered with the security of Al-Baghdadi.

As the period of control of Al-Buayhiyn 334 AH, sectarian conflict was add to the Alsonat and Alshiyea because of the religious celebrations held by Alshiyea on the day of Ashura and Eid al-Ghadir.
