Abstract

The awareness of the importance of time and its connotations arises from a person’s sense of the instinctive nature of his initial formation. Time is inherent in the life in which we witness the life cycle of every living being, Therefore, the effectiveness of the presence of time in storytelling is represented as the basic and indispensable pillar in establishing the structure of the narrative structure. Rather, the relevance of the novelty of the story is related to the extent of what the narrator is proficient in in the context of his special artistic deal with the temporal structure, This will be evident in the story groups - the topic of the research - by examining the effect of the level of order of events through the two techniques of retrieval and anticipation
