Abstract

The research deals critically with the significance of the discourse in its critical concept in its nested form in the core of the story, the story and the novel by defining the characteristics of the discourse and its counterpart the narrative discourse in its critical term that is indicated for its inclusion in the course of narration, and then analyzing the concept of discourse of Ahmed Saadawi in the novel: "Frankenstein in Baghdad", which won the Booker Prize. In its Arabic version 2014, the research has identified the features of the critical term: "discourse" and its manifestations within the novel, and then the discursive values ​​in its critical forms in the novel according to a critical study of the contents of the discourse and its multiple determinants in its direct and indirect style alike.

Al-Urq tries to highlight the formalism of the discourse within the text of the novel through studying, analyzing, criticizing and presenting the multiple discourse form in the novel.
