Abstract

The essential concept of current research is: perceived risk. Perceived risk refers to individual's perception to the risk of possibility of exposure to health threat, and beliefs he hold to reduce this threat. The individual’s perception of the health threat is of two aspects, either negative or positive depending on individual's belifes. Negative aspect of preception of health threat risk is an individual's feeling of personal weakness. Positive aspoct is engaging in protective behaviors to reduce this threat. So the aim of this research is to Identifying the perceived risk of HBV among male and female nurses in the governmental hospital of Baghdad and Thi Qar cities, The research has presented several suggestions and recommendations.
