Abstract

The Qur’an uses short words, which are predominant in their triple or quadruple root (root) for ease of use and pronunciation, and they have many connotations, according to their meaning in the Qur’anic context. It is derived from the triple root (fi t), including (a girl, a boy, a girl, and your girls), all of which denote the word fatwa. It is mentioned in ten Qur’anic verses, eight Meccan verses and two Medinan verses in multiple forms, singular, plural, masculine, feminine and dual, with meanings that have eternal and renewed connotations. Renewed eras and events that contemporary these words.

The researcher also stopped at the hadith of the Noble Qur’an about the fatwa with educational verses urging young people to believe in God Almighty and to draw close to Him, in order to inspire feelings of faith in the hearts of young people and motivate them to stay away from vices and disobedience. And the encouragement of the new generation to combat global tyranny and arrogance as a guide to righteous deeds. The term “fatwa” had moral and physical characteristics, which were indicated by the Qur’anic verses.
