Abstract

Memory has different representations which appear in various forms as they emerge from the writer’s mind, where they were present. These various representations of memory are nothing but a focalization of the general stock of memory that emerge with various levels that can be of short and long-term, sketchy or detailed, selective or randomized, realistic or imaginary. These various manifestations of memory underlie the writer’s perceptions and help him/her capture that memory, depicting it as a clear feature in his/her writing. Each of these various manifestations has a different meaning, as each springs out of the memory space in response to stimuli, which summons a specific part of the memory. This is what it is meant by (representations), that is, the perceptual entity shaped in the form of images and events and is separated from memory to establish an external representation / depiction, based on different remembrance verbs.
