Abstract

For students, they can be considered the backbone of society because with them the nation will build its hopes and future, and in order to form a personality for the student with an open mind and a clearer vision.

Therefore, the current research targeted the following: -

Knowing the level of cognitive perception anxiety of middle school students and the significance of statistical differences according to the gender variable (male-female).

And identifying the future expectations of middle school students and the significance of statistical differences according to the gender variable (male-female).

Is there a relationship between cognitive perception anxiety and future expectations among middle school students? The current research was limited to middle school students of both sexes in Anbar Governorate, Ramadi district, the researcher adopted the steps of the relational descriptive approach, the current research community consisted of (63605) students and students, and the sample was chosen randomly As the research sample reached (120) male and female students. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher built a scale for cognitive perception anxiety and built a scale for future expectations. After processing the data by appropriate statistical means.

The following results showed:

1- The cognitive perception anxiety is higher than the average for the sample, and there are no differences attributed to the gender

2- Future expectations are higher than the average for the sample, and there are no differences attributed to the gender.

3- There is no statistically significant relationship between cognitive perception anxiety and future expectations among the sample members.

From these results the researcher made a number of recommendations and suggestions.
